While there is no ‘hard or fast’ rule for who does what, the information will provide insight into the types of functions provided across levels. Depending on your role in the system, you may have more expertise in some areas than others.

Level 1: Dementia Knowledge & Skills

If you work in community support services (e.g., administrative support, foot care, adult day programs, friendly visiting, community palliative care, Meals on Wheels, counsellors, social workers, and case managers), the following knowledge and skills will aid you in your interactions with people living with Dementia.
