Education & Training

The Education and Training Collaborative was formed by the Champlain Dementia Network in 2014.  We receive funding from the Champlain Local Health Integration Network to:

  • Better work together in providing education and training opportunities to organizations, caregivers, and people living with dementia,
  • Collaborate with other sectors like community support services, diabetes, palliative care, falls prevention and others on education and training opportunities.

If you’re interested in learning more about what’s available in our region, or how to build capacity for working with people living with dementia and their caregivers, you might be interested in the Education and Training Inventory we developed in 2014, and how we have mapped different levels of knowledge of staff persons working with people living with dementia and their caregivers.
